Bright Club - June 2013

Why not take part in the in the project that has go researchers from all over up on stage talking about their work. 

I'm pleased to announce the next training session at Emmanuel College, Room A1 at 3pm on Friday 10th May.

The session should last an hour and it's not just a talk, we'll go through some actives on how to to make things funny and how comedy works, the ideas behind writing jokes and what goes in to a set a Bright Club . When you leave you should have everything to need to deliver a Bright Club set or add humour to your own talks. I will also be looking for some people to fill the slot for our upcoming Bright Club events, where we get academics/post docs/PhDs and undergrads to give 7-8 minute humorous talk on their work.

Please contact me on anh25 at cam.ac.uk if you can attend, taking part in the training results in no obligation to actually do an event so do come along and see what it is all about.

As always they will support our six intrepid boffins who will get up on stage and try explain their subjects via the media of stand-up-comedy. Bright Club - the only evening where laughter and brains collide.
